Vietnam – Singapore: Strengthen cooperation in the Area of Standardization, Metrology and Quality

In the framework of the official visit and work of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc in Singapore, on 25/4/2018, representatives of the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ) – Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). Vietnam and representatives of the Singaporean Standardization Organization (Singapore) signed MOU on Cooperation in Standardization and Conformity Assessment.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc -Viet Namese Prime Minister and Mr. Lee Hsien Loong – Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore witness the signing of the MOU between Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai -Deputy General Director and Ms. Choy Sauw Kook -Deputy Director General of National Standardization of Singapore
The two Prime Ministers witnessed the signing of the Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) between Deputy General Director Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai and Deputy Director General of National Standardization of Singapore Ms. Choy Sauw Kook on cooperation in the field of standardization and conformity assessment.
Singning MOU between two countries on Cooperation in the Area of Standardization, Metrology and Quality is one of the many meaningful activities of the two national standards bodies in Vietnam and Singapore, contributing to further strengthening the cooperation in standardization, technical regulations and conformity assessment.This not only facilitates trade but also expand the cooperation of businesses between two countries in the future.
