STAMEQ attending the 2018 International Quality Assurance Award (GPEA)

On the occasion of APQO’s 24th International Quality Conference, APQO’s Asia Pacific Quality Awards (APQO) was held in the capital Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Vietnam currently has 46 enterprises out of 227 organizations and enterprises in the Asia Pacific region receiving the GPEA Award.
The GPEA is a prestigious award that enterprises in the Asia-Pacific region are looking forward to because the criteria of the nominees are very strict: enterprises have to be received National Quality Gold Award in their countries in the last two years, must be nominated by the National Quality Award etc… In addition, criteria for award consideration are based on the criteria Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

The evaluation must be conducted by leading economic and technical experts in Asia and whole world. GPEA awards are only given to organizations and enterprises that have a leading business model in the Asia-Pacific region.
Currently, the APQO Award is awarded by the Asia Pacific Quality Organization. APQO is a nonprofit organization that brings together top-quality associations from the Pacific Rim or the Asia countries. APQO’s executive board includes representatives from Australia, Canada, Chile, China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, United States, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.
The 24th APQO GPEA Awards Ceremony and the APQO Quality Conference will take place from 10-13 December 2018.
