Signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between the Australian Standardization Agency and the Directorate for Standards, Metrology, and Quality

On the afternoon of March 20, 2023, the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ) had a meeting with the Australian Standardization Agency at the headquarters of the General Department.

Dr. Ha Minh Hiep – Acting Deputy Director General of the STAMEQ hosted a reception for the delegation of Standardization Australia (Standards Australia) which is Australia’s national standardization agency (Australia), responsible for monitoring activities. including: developing a roadmap, developing and updating Australian national standards, representing the country to participate in international standardization organizations, managing and certifying Australian standards organizations.

The two parties have engaged in practical and effective cooperative activities that have improved the technical competence of both parties. They have also coordinated flawlessly when holding seminars and carrying out activities under the auspices of international organizations like ISO and IEC.
