Seminar series on “Water saving and treatment “
On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Israel and promoting scientific and technological cooperation between the two States, the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ) coordinated with the Israeli Embassy in Vietnam to hold a series of seminars on “Water saving and treatment” from July 9th to 12th 2018 at STAMEQ.

Isarel experts and representatives of ministries, businesses of Viet Nam
At the seminar series, Israel experts will share a policy of encouraging young scientists, businesses and start-ups to invest in water technology development, water loss management, reuse of wastewater from Israel. In particular, the program includes a workshop on drip irrigation – a key technology that has transformed the face of Israeli agriculture.
Speaking at the opening session of the seminar, Deputy minister of MOST, Mr Tran Van Tung confirmed that this is a particularly important event marks a collaboration in the field of standardization between the Vietnam and Israel.

Seminar series on “Water saving and treatment ” is hoped to become a forum for Vietnamese managers and businesses to exchange and learn from Israel experts about securing supplies for people and socio-economic activities.
