Project collaboration to assist quality assurance services for the development of sustainable energy
This afternoon, April 18, 2023, the Vietnam Institute of Standards and Quality, the General Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality (STAMEQ) had a meeting with the German Metrology Institute (PTB) related to the “Support project quality assurance services for sustainable energy development”. Today’s working session had the participation of Dr. Trieu Viet Phuong, Head of Working Group 1 (WG1) on Standardization, Deputy Director of the Vietnam Institute of Standards and Quality and members of the German Metrology Institute (PTB).
Regarding the content of the project, WG 1 set out the following objectives:
+ Creating a prioritized list of all necessary national standards in the area of solar photovoltaics.
+ Publishing a number of priority national standards in the list.
Both parties came to an agreement on the schedule of activities for the upcoming period at the end of the working session: creating a list of essential national regulations for solar photovoltaic technology in the following order of importance: Content: Encourage the hunt for both domestic and international expertise in solar photovoltaics. Create market research studies for Vietnam in the solar photovoltaics sector from there, and suggest creating the appropriate national standards to address current requirements.
