Official Launch of STAMEQ’s Open Space

On June 6, 2024, the Commission for Standards, Metrology and Quality of Viet Nam (STAMEQ) officially launched STAMEQ’s Open Space. The first visitors to this special area were Mr. Philipp Metzger, Secretary-General of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), and Mr. Dennis Chew, IEC Director for the Asia-Pacific region.

STAMEQ’s Open Space is one of the first outcomes of the “STAMEQ Vision – Cooperation for Comprehensive Development”, which aims to enhance STAMEQ’s international status and promote its image globally. STAMEQ has especially designated this space for experts from its strategic partners and 14 international and regional organizations to which STAMEQ is a member. The IEC Secretary-General and the IEC Asia-Pacific Director highly appreciated this initiative, considering it a very practical support for STAMEQ’s partners.
