Iranian National Productivity Organization and the Vietnamese delegation collaborated

On August 8, 2023, Mr. Ha Minh Hiep, Acting Deputy Director General, Directorate of Standards, Metrology and Quality, Director of APO – Vietnam worked with the National Productivity Organization of Iran (NPO-Iran) at Tehran, the capital of Iran.
The Asian Productivity Organization (APO) counts NPO – Iran and the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality as active members. The Vietnamese group was greeted with respect and courtesy by Dr. Mir Saman Pishvaee, Director of APO – Iran, and his colleagues. The politeness and generosity of the Iranian people and government authorities were much appreciated by Mr. Ha Minh Hiep.
The Iranian NPO side introduced the role and position of this organization in building the country’s productivity ecosystem, Iran’s national productivity movement. Mr. Ha Minh Hiep also shared about the implementation of the Master Plan to improve productivity based on the foundation of science, technology and innovation of Vietnam.
The Iranian NPO proposed that the Memorandum of Understanding’s main provisions include knowledge and experience sharing on the role of national productivity agencies involved in policy formulation; organizing joint training courses and seminars on ways to boost national and sectoral productivity; and sharing productivity improvement initiatives in businesses. The Iranian NPO also conducted a number of brief productivity dialogue sessions and proposed and implemented a number of other measures. The General Department accepted the aforementioned suggestions and will talk about completing the contents of shared interest. In addition, the two sides decided to work even more closely together as APO members at the same time.
