Early form an ecosystem of smart production in Vietnam

The above information was emphasized by Mr. Ha Minh Hiep, Deputy Director General of STAMEQ at a Seminar on supporting businesses to access smart production in Vietnam on September 9 in Hanoi.

The event was attended by Mr. Andreas Hauser, Director of TUV SUD Digital Service and Mr. Jackie Tan, Vice President in charge of advanced manufacturing of TUV SUD Digital Service and representatives of ministries and businesses interested in smart production in Vietnam.

Sharing at the seminar, Mr. Ha Minh Hiep said that early forming an ecosystem of smart production in Vietnam would support businesses to improve productivity in the context of taking advantage of positive benefits from the achievements of Industry 4.0. Accordingly, Vietnam is one of the countries with early access to smart production based on digital technology, smart technology, thus Vietnamese businesses need to optimize their production processes and methods. In the coming time, with the cooperation of TUV SUD Digital Service – a leading business organization in smart production with STAMEQ will pilot the smart production model in Vietnam.

At the same time, STAMEQ will build an ecosystem to support smart manufacturing enterprises, including: manufacturers, businesses, financial consultants, technology consultants, policy consulting agencies, etc.

At the seminar, experts from TUV SUD Digital Service also gave information on the development trend of industry 4.0 and assumed that the key would be to convert from macro to concrete.

Director of TUV SUD Digital Service – Mr. Andreas Hauser provided a set of indicators for Industry 4.0 readiness and recommendations to help businesses get ready for the transition. “The first step is to determine what the needs of the business are, the second step is to identify solutions based on the actual situation of the business, followed by the deployment and operation step, this is the step to ensure implementing in a safe, sustainable manner and measured its effectiveness”. At the end of the seminar, Mr. Ha Minh Hiep identified that the recommendations of the TUV SUD Digital Service expert was very important, the information would help Vietnamese businesses to identify and transform, to know where they are and what needs improvement in the future.
