Smart manufacturing: A vital trend for business development

Welcoming the new wave of investment shifting and developing smart factories in the new normal context” as the coordinator of the conference’s exchange, Deputy General Director of  STAMEQ, Dr. Ha Minh Hiep said that the most important issue had been the development of human resources to serve smart  manufacturing . Human resources had  two points. Firstly, the awareness of  leaders, officials and workers about smart  manufacturing. Second, intensive and high-quality human resources helped businesses implement the digital transformation process.

Also at the Business Conference, there were proposals on building smart manufacturing ecosystems, including the participation of ministries,, consulting businesses, training units, production and service enterprises to help businesses digitize

Before entering the digital transformation path, businesses need to conduct an assessment of the current state of access, most businesses have proposed to have an assessment solution of Vietnam. In addition, digital transformation proposals must be based on internal capabilities and capabilities of businesses and businesses need to build their own digital transformation roadmap.

The digital transformation process in Vietnam should be based on the capacities and internal strengths of Vietnamese enterprises, which means that it must be based on information technology enterprises, Vietnamese solutions, and based on Vietnamese capabilities. However, there are also some leading firms that use international consulting and training agencies to play a leading role in economies

Smart manufacturing is known for its foundation on the integration of smart machines and next-generation robots, connecting I industrial things and integrated systems and software that are becoming an inevitable trend. The core element of smart manufacturing is the smart factory, which is an automated production system that is continuously connected and processed data from self-learning and adaptive business activities (factory manufacturing responsive, adapting and connecting). Smart manufacturing with the core of smart factories is becoming the new driving force of the world, countries are accelerating the development of smart manufacturing.
