NBC and China CCIC Group signed a cooperation agreement to implement Trace ability on agricultural, forestry and fishery products exported to the Chinese market.

Cooperation between the two parties would be divided into 3 stages, according to which NBC and CCIC -TTS would initially jointly promote the management of traceability in Vietnam, application of retrieval solutions of NBC and CCIC-TTS based on the request for traceability of Vietnam and at the same time satisfying the requirements of Chinese surveillance. In particular, the two-party system must ensure the results accepted by Chinese Customs to serve import and export procedures.

Also in this cooperation agreement, the two sides agreed that NBC would build the Traceability System to connect the common system of CCIC and promote customs of both sides to fully recognize the results of mutual traceability and to convenient implementation of commercial transactions.

Thus, from July 1, 2019, NBC is the sole authorized representative of CCIC in Vietnam market and has rights to all products imported into China market.

The labeling, testing, quarantine as well as permission to identify traceability in Vietnam is carried out by CCIC – The Group is the Vietnamese Government and MARD allows the testing, quarantine and provision of stamps of origin.
