Signing ceremony of cooperation on smart production between the Quality Training Centre and IGI Korea Co.,Ltd.
During the visit of IGI Korea in Vietnam, the Quality Training Centre (QTC) and IGI Korea Co.,Ltd. had a survey and worked at a number of the North manufacturing companies to understand the needs and initial status of these companies for smart production. Thereby, the two sides realized the great interest from enterprises towards the benefits of smart production could be brought such as in helping to review and evaluate weak points, improving productivity through the use of smart production solutions based on standards.
On that basis, on June 6, 2019, QTC signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IGI Korea on collaboration and conduction to evaluate the current smart manufacturing levels of Vietnamese manufacturing companies.
Attending the signing ceremony were the Director General of STAMEQ Mr. Tran Van Vinh and representatives of the International Cooperation Department, Mr. Le Minh Tam, Deputy Director in charge of QTC and Mr. Sangsu Choi, CEO of IGI Korea.
Witnessing the signing ceremony, the Director General of STAMEQ Mr. Tran Van Vinh congratulated both parties and said that smart production is a development trend of the world and receiving great attention from the Government and Vietnamese companies. He also expected that the two sides will continue to implement many effective cooperation activities based on the signed MoU to help develop this field in Vietnam.
